Adventist Bakery

In Bakery on June 1, 2011 at 5:50 pm

Adventist Bakery has a main outlet, in Adventist Hospital itself and two satellite outlets. One is in Sunshine Farlim Hypermart and the other Sunshine Square Bayan Baru. Sunshine Farlim card members are entitled to an additional 10% discount on most items except their Sprouted Life Grain Breads and certain products.

Some items are vegan but most items contain dairy, honey and/or eggs.

Childhood favorites such as sausage buns, sardine buns, “Asianized” pizzas and egg tarts are available using soy derivatives and mock meats. Sprouted Life Grain Breads uses sprouted wheat, grains and seeds is a firm favorite with the locals. In Georgetown itself, their Sprouted Life Grain Breads are also supplied to selected grocery stores like Cold Storage with slight mark up in price. They do deliver nationwide. Check their website for further information.

  1. I was intending to go to this bakery during my visit, but it was a little far out of town and didn’t have the time in the end!

    Great review!

    • Yea, it is a little off the tourist belt but fret not you’ll get a chance when you visit Penang again.

Thanks for all your support! I really appreciate it.

  2. May I know the satellite outlets in Sunshine Square and Sunshine Farlim still available? Because I cannot find the outlets in Sunshine Farlim. Besides, cold storage in Gurney Plaza also selling Adventist’s bread loaf?
